Patricia Curtis

Patricia M. Curtis RN 1926 ~ 2010 Patricia Margaret Pitchforth Curtis, age 84, passed away on June 28, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born March 7, 1926 in Long Island, New York, to Samuel Eugene and Theresa Pitchforth. Raised in Milford, Utah. Graduated from Holy Cross Nursing School. Served as a 1st Lieutenant with the Nursing Corp of the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. Married Wilkie Dalton Curtis, Sr. On February 5, 1954 in Frankfurt, Germany. She was the best Mom in the world and a wonderful Grandma. She dedicated her life to helping others. Survived by her children: Ann, Wilkie and Bridget; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband. Special thanks to the staff and clergy at St. Josephs Villa for all they did for Mom. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 1, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South 1700 West. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
