Patricia Grant

Patricia Rae Grant, 70, of Safford, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Sunset Hills, in Safford. She was born on April 5, 1940 in Safford, to Ray Hampton Stuermer and Patsy Ruth Merrill. Patti attended school in Safford and graduated from Safford High School in 1958. She then moved to Phoenix and then to Atlanta. She returned to Safford in 1995. She was vivacious and out going until she was over taken by a long illness. She is survived by her son, Michael Thrift of Plano,TX; a daughter, Stacy Rogers of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Kathy Stuermer Cummings of Atlanta, GA; and 5 grandchildren. Memorial services will be celebrated on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel, in Safford.
