Paul Elwood Graham, 81 of Safford passed away February 25, 2011 at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. Paul was born October 18, 1929 in Leominster, Massachusetts and graduated from Leominster High School. He served in the Massachusetts National Guard and was a gifted mechanic specializing in front ends. Paul was an artist and published poet. He enjoyed working on cars and anything electrical. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and has lived in the Gila Valley for 25 years. He remained positive, optimistic and cheerful throughout his illness. Paul is survived by his son, Harold (Beverly) Graham of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Paula Graham of Safford, and Joanne (Julio) Palomino of Safford; five grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, Janell, Jacob, and Joshua; and two great grandchildren, Elijah and Isaiah. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Graham Constant, brothers Robert & Wayne Graham. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Caldwell Funeral Chapel with viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
