Paul Hales

Paul Wright Hales 1947 ~ 2008 July 29, 2008 the world became a darker place. Paul Hales, age 61, our loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away at home in West Jordan, Utah. Paul was born July 7, 1947 in Ogden, Utah the son of John A. and Pauline Wright Hales. Attended Ben Lomond High School and Weber State University. Paul served two tours in Vietnam (US Army). Upon his return he started a new life with MarDene Beeton and together had three children. He later married his sweetheart Laurie. Paul recently retired from Unisys after 33 years of employment. Paul was a jack of all trades who loved NASCAR, trains, garden railroading and his dogs. But most of all he was a devoted father, grandfather and mentor. Paul will be greatly missed by his wife, Laurie; children: Erik (Tawny), Tracy, and Jennie; 4 beautiful grandchildren: Jordan, Kami, Jaden and Terrin; his dogs, Maggie and Baron. Preceded in death by his dog, Max. A viewing will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
