Paul Steven Hatch 1958-2010 Paul Steven Hatch was called home to live with his Heavenly Father April 2, 2010 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Paul was born on December 10, 1958, in Murray, UT, to Merlin Deon Hatch and Loa Jeannette Mc Connell. He was the oldest of six children. Paul attended schools in SLC, graduating from Granger High School. He served an LDS mission in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Paul took engineering classes and worked as the CAD manager for CRS. Paul married Christine Schow in the SLC Temple on August 14, 1981. He is survived by his wife Christine, Parents Merlin and Jeannette, Daughters; Rebecca , Melanie, Allison, Jocelyn and Grandson Steven. He served in many positions in the LDS Church and was currently 2nd Counselor in the Salt Lake Hunter Copperhill Stake Presidency. Paul loved everyone, serving in the church and his community. Paul enjoyed BSA, working with youth, YM/YW Treks, and spending time with his family. A viewing will be held at the LDS Chapel at 6400 West 4333 South on Monday Evening April 5 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:00 am in the LDS Ward Chapel, 6710 West 4145 South in WVC where a viewing will be held prior to the funeral for family and friends from 10:00-10:45 am. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
