Paul Naranjo

Paul C. Naranjo, 70, of Safford, passed away April 21, 2015. Paul was born August 21, 1944 to Alex and Helen Naranjo in Bellemont, AZ. Paul graduated from the school of life and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Paul loved sports and family gatherings. He especially loved the birth of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children; Sherrie Danielle Kline, Denise Marie Wiebers and Richard Matthew Naranjo, siblings; Alex Naranjo Jr., Rose Norton, Carlos Naranjo, Daniel Naranjo, Marcia Naranjo, Lucia Naranjo, Michael Naranjo and Pat Andrade, 13 Grandchildren & 4 Great-Grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Alex G. Sr. and Helen Molinas Naranjo, sister Frances Stanuikynas, brothers; Richard Naranjo and Tony Naranjo and Granddaughter Erin Rae Blackwell. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Rosary being led at 10 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Father Robert Rodriguez as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery following services.
