Paul Shores

Paul (Pete) Wayne Shores Paulie Our loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and hunting buddy, Paul Wayne Shores, passed away January 13, 2009 after fighting an illness for three years. He loved his family and friends very much. He was born March 19, 1947 in Quincy, Illinois, to Wayne and Pauline Clifford Shores. Paul married the love of his life, Sandra Kay Perkins, December 30, 1972 in Elko, NV. They just celebrated their 35th anniversary. They combined two families and in the end had 5 boys: Troy (Connie) Perkins, Salt Lake City; Shane (Leslie) Perkins, Logan; Travis (April) Shores, Grantsville; Paul Cunningham, MO; and Tim (Jamie) Cunningham, Illinois. Survived by wife, Sandi; 5 sons; father, Wayne Shores, Salt Lake City; stepfather, Carl Clifton, IL; brothers: Dick Clifford and Mark and Perry Clifton; sisters: Sandy (Don) Walker, IL; Diane Murphy, MO; Cheryl Thomas, MO. The family would like to express a special thanks for the help, dedication and time given to Paul, by the staff, while in the ICU at Pioneer Valley Hospital. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Victor Cruz who was able to find the problem and give to me and my family what little time he had left. Thank you very much, we love you. Memorial services will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Family and friends may visit 45 minutes prior to services.
