Paula McKissick

Paula McKissick 1945 ~ 2010 Paula Fern Durrant McKissick, was born October 23, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Warren and Janice Durrant. She passed away peacefully November 2, 2010, at the age of 65, in her home in Taylorsville, Utah. Graduated from Jordan High School in 1963 and later earned a Word Processing Technician Certificate from Bryman University in 1983. Paula found the greatest joy in life when she was with her family. She loved her children deeply and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She had enormous faith as an LDS Church member and always looked forward to her weekly trips to the temple. She had great charisma and an uncanny ability to make new friends wherever she went. Paula took great pride in her handyman skills and when she had a project or an idea, her determination was unrivaled. Paula is survived by her children: Wendy (Bryan) Ross, Kimberly (Phillip) Brower, Gary Christopher (Jennifer) McKissick, Cory (Kristina) McKissick; former husband, Gary McKissick; siblings: Thomas (Sherry) Durrant, John Durrant, Linda Durrant, Steven Durrant, David (Fely) Durrant, Michael (Maralyn) Durrant; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Thursday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
