Peder Pedersen

Peder Astrup Pedersen, 93, beloved husband and father entered into rest June 28, 2011 in Safford, AZ. Peder was born March 22, 1918, in Lofoten Norway. He and his family left Norway in 1952 on a ship to Canada, where they later made their way to Seattle WA with their five children, and started a new life for themselves. Peder worked as a carpenter until he retired in 1980. He and his wife Dina later moved to Casa Grande Arizona in 1997 for a little fun in the sun in their golden years. They then moved to Thatcher in 2010 to be closer to their family. Peder is preceded in death by his parents; Petter and Annie Pedersen his wife Dina, son Roy Ax a daughter Rita Allan. Peder left behind his son Dag W. (Teresa) Ax of Safford, daughter Lilli (Horst) Boettcher of Oregon, daughter Randi Davis of Washington, 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren who will all miss him, his wonderful smile and generosity. Those he has left behind will never forget him. May God be with Peder as he makes his way to the Lord. Services are pending at a later date.
