Peggy Broadbent Terry Sam Peggy Broadbent Terry, 63, passed away January 30, 2009 in Salt Lake City. She was born on May 23, 1945 in Price, Utah to Lynn and Wanda Rose Crandall Broadbent. She was raised in Helper, Utah and graduated from Carbon High, College of Eastern Utah, and later BYU. She married Ray Dean Terry on June 4, 1966 in the Manti Temple. They lived in Hunter for 37 years and currently reside in West Jordan. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she had numerous callings and loved to serve others. She loved music, traveling, sewing, collecting coupons, spending time with family and friends, watching classic movies, telling jokes, and her greatest passion was doing genealogy. She researched thousands of names for her family and other people. She supplied all of her extended family with hundreds of names to take to the temple. She is survived by her husband, Ray Dean Terry; daughter, Cindy (Al) Hedenstrom; son, Brent (Michelle) Terry; 4 granddaughters, Alyssa, Lucy, Emmaline, and Abby; sister, Lynda Gibbs; two brothers, Lee & Alan Broadbent. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kay Stubbs. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by many. A special thanks to Dr. Sherman Johnson, the staff at CareSource Hospice, the West Jordan Paramedics, and Netha Heath. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 12:00 noon at the Mountain View 10th Ward, 8435 South 2700 West, West Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and on Wednesday from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the LDS Humanitarian Fund.
