Penny Holmes

Penny Holmes, 41 of Sierra Vista, formerly of Safford passed away January 26, 2014 in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Penny was born September 21, 1972 in Tucson, Arizona to Kenneth Holmes and Claudette Bryce. Penny had a strong Christian faith and was very strong willed. She had a great love of animals and was always the advocate for them. Penny is survived by her son, Nathan Holmes; mother, Claudette Medford; and sister, Catherine Chatman. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Wesley Hurston, and sister, Kathy Holmes. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Church at Safford on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to McDougals Caldwell Funeral Chapel to help with the costs of funeral expenses.
