Petra Martinez

Petra Florence Roybal Aragon Martinez 1914-2007 Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, 93, passed away July 21, 2007 with her loving daughters by her side. Born in Vigil, Colorado to Max and Tomasita Roybal. She married Lorenzo Aragon in 1935, he preceded her in death in 1974. Later married Joe Martinez in 1988. She lived in Trinidad, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2004, her and her primary caregiver, daughter, Mary, moved to Utah. Survived by daughters: Mary Solorzano, Riverton; Marie (Willie) Romero, West Jordan; 5 Grandchildren, Donna (Scott) Crane, Ron Romero, Mike (Ruby) Romero, Phillip Solorzano, Marlene (Luis) Pena; 14 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandsons; Brothers, Ernesto Roybal, Denver; and Arthur Roybal, Weston, Colorado. Preceded in death by both husbands, parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Special thanks to the Alzheimers Association and Love Healthcare for their loving care, and to Gods Angels Nancy and Rebecca. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may visit Tuesday 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday 1:00 - 1:45 P.M., with Pastor Daniel Gill officiating. Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery.
