Petra Ribera

Petra Ribera, 65 homemaker of Phoenix, AZ was born on May 30, 1953 in Ascencion, Chihuahua and was called by our Lord on August 24, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ. Petra was a loving wife, mother, sister, and "Nana Abuela" as her grandchildren would call her. Survivors include her husband Joe Ribera, daughter Cynthia Ribera (Ellio Sonoqui), son Joey Ribera (Melyssa Ribera), grandchildren Carlos Ribera, Leilani Sonoqui, Itzel Sonoqui, and Mateo Ribera. Siblings include Maria Sanchez, Ernesto Lopez, Enrique Lopez, Joaquina Lopez, Salvador Lopez, Rosa Marquez, and Margarita Lopez. Sister n laws Mercy Delgado and Cathi Alvarado. Brother in law Paul Lopez. Several nieces and nephews. Petra is preceded in death by her father Ernesto Lopez, mother Joaquina Lopez, siblings Jesus Lopez, Francisco Lopez, Ramona Pinon, Alicia Lopez. Father and Mother n law Jose Solis Ribera and Dolores Ribera. Funeral Services will be held Thursday August 30th at Universal Funeral Home 7007 South Central Avenue, Phoenix from 3p to 5p. Mass will be Friday August 31st at 10am Holy Family Catholic Church 6802 S. 24th St. Phoenix. Burial will be on Friday August 31st 4pm at Thatcher Cementary.
