Phillip Essex

Philip W. Essex King Cobra Our loving son, cherished brother and devoted uncle, Philip William Essex, 29, passed away October 6, 2008. He was born July 6, 1979 in La Mesa, California, son of William Sherman Jr. and Mary Beth Whittle Essex. He was dedicated to his work in the Department of Corrections and respected the privilege of assisting people working on improving their lives. Survived by his father, Bill (Barbara) Essex; siblings: Gwen Essex, Kati (Nick) Medel, Karen (Keith) Fairhurst and Patrick (Nici) Essex; nieces and nephews: Trevor, Mason, Karson, Ayden, Sierra and Connor; grandfather, William (Ruby) Essex, Sr. Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Beth. Philip was universally compassionate, predictably hilarious and deeply, deeply loved. Private family services were held. Arrangements under the directions of McDougal Funeral Home.
