PHILLIP JAMES NIELSEN PJ Phillip James Nielsen passed away Thursday August 27, 2009 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born March 3, 1978, in Ogden, Utah to Mark E. Nielsen and Karen Jermyn. P.J. was an amazing Father, brother and wonderful son, who will be deeply missed. He was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes when he was only five years old and struggled with the disease most of his life, which shaped the wonderful person he became. He graduated from Granger High School. He married Amy Brown on August 13, 1999 and had a daughter, Zaida Lin. Later divorced. He married Stacy Hall on February 21, 2008. The marriage was solemnized in the Bountiful Temple March 22, 2009. P.J. had an amazing ability to put others before himself, even though he was in pain a lot of the time. P.J. is survived by his wife, Stacy; daughters: Zaida and Haley; son, Ethan; his parents Mark (Ida) Nielsen, and Karen (Bruce) Jermyn; sister Julieanne; brothers, Mark C. (Nicole), Tim (Josselyn), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored him. Funeral services will be held Monday August 31, 2009 11:00 a.m. at West Jordan Copper Hills 2nd Ward, 5176 West Parr Drive, (8440 South). Viewing will be held Sunday, 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and 10:00-10:45 am Monday at the church. A fund has been set up in Zaidas name at America First Credit Union in lieu of flowers.
