Rachel Baker

Rachel Baker Ma Rachel Rita Bonacci Baker, died April 19, 2008 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Mama had a sweet spirit and was loved by all who knew her. She was born January 31, 1933 in Helper, Utah, daughter of Antonio and Martha Morino Bonacci. She married Glen Baker and together they raised seven children: Glenna (Rex) Rasmussen, Dorothy Brafford, Rita Smith, Christy Hamlet, Willy (Tammy) Baker, Vicky (John) Whittaker and Dawn (Sam) McDowell. She loved children and was blessed with 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She received a Peoples Choice Award for her acts of caring and kindness. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Willy; her parents; sister and brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2008, 9:30 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held, Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 9-9:30 a.m. prior to services. Cremation to follow.
