Ralph Schweppe

RALPH C. SCHWEPPE SR. 1916 ~ 2008 Ralph Carlyle Schweppe, Sr., age 91, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2008. Born June 16, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Emil John and Lillian Norton Schweppe. He married Marie Josephine Stecher and she passed away in 1974. He then married Ellen Grace Hanson on October 29, 1974 and she also preceded him in death. Ralph served honorably in the United States Navy during WWII and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He is survived by his children: Mary Jane (Thomas) Michaelis, and Ralph Carlyle (Anna) Schweppe, Jr.; step-children: Rex, Mary Ellen, Cathy, Glen, Ruth, Bette; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Twila Roberts, Emil Leroy and Belva Hendricksen. He was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Henry and sister, Luann Beaza. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville 20th Ward, 3120 West 4700 South. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 6 - 8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Thursday at the church, 11 - 11:45 a.m. Entombment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
