Ranayia Kay Kitcheyan, 38, of Bylas, passed away January 30, 2018 in Tempe, Arizona. She was born March 24, 1979 in San Carlos, Arizona to Aaron & Sandra Rambler Kitcheyan joining Tanayia, Lola, Shera, Terra, Kristi, Desirae and Culbert. She was a member of The Church f Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended San Carlos High School and the Sherman Indian High School graduating in 1996. Ranayia the went on to Eastern Arizona College and then the Haskell Indian Nations University. She is also a graduate of the San Carlos Training Institute / Fixed Plant Operations. In her spare time, she worked as a firefighter. Ranayia is survived by her parents Sandra Rambler and Aaron Kitcheyan, her siblings; Tanayia White, Lola Rambler, Shera Day, Kristi Brown, Terra Brown, Desirae Rambler and Culbert Brown. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jerry Rambler, Sr., her paternal grandfather Buck Kitcheyan, Jr., her uncle Buck Kitcheyan, Jr. and her maternal grandmothers Lupe Kozie and Bernice Harney. A wake will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Rambler residence in Bylas with the funeral service on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stanley Hall. Interment will follow at the Navajo Point Cemetery in Bylas.
