Richard Ruiz

Richard J. Ruiz, 51, of Safford, Arizona found peace on October 24, 2013. Richard was born on April 3, 1962 to Dolores W. Soto and Manuel A. Ruiz. Richard was a family man with a heart of gold, who loved god & everybody around him. He enjoyed family barbecues, watching football, cooking, music, dancing, attending church and telling jokes. Richard adored his grandchildren, they mean the world to him. The grand kids called him Grandpa Boom Boom. He was known as Rick or Big Guy to family and friends. Richard was a huge Pittsburg Steelers and ASU fan. He will be greatly missed and is loved by many. His full of life personality and laughter will never be forgotten. Richard didnt deserve what happened to him. Family is praying that justice will prevail. Richard is survived by daughter Ericka M. Ruiz; son Jacob J. Ruiz, sister Connie F. Ruiz, brother Chris D. Ruiz, grandchildren; Elijah Perry, Honesty Perry, Ezra Perry, Aubriella Ruiz, Kianna Merino and Jacob Ruiz, Jr. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Dahlia W. Soto and mother Dolores S. Renteria. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Victory Fellowship Church in Safford. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
