Rinda Carter, 87, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016, at her home in Thatcher with her children by her side. Rinda was born in Central, Arizona November 02, 1928 to Melvin Porter Ferguson and Mathilda Marie Ferguson. Rinda grew up in Central, attending the Central school through the eighth grade and attending high school in Thatcher. She met the love of her life Arthur Carter at a skating rink in Safford, they married on December 08, 1946. In 1947 their first son Rodney was born; in 1950 their second son Willman (Bill) was born; in 1960 their daughter Cindy was born completing the family. Rinda was the best homemaker and mother in the world, just ask her kids. The Carter's enjoyed square dancing, camping at 'Carter's camp' in Cedar Springs & with Rinda's sister Rose Marie in Lakeside, playing cards with friends, and enjoyed going on a Caribbean Cruise & on an Alaska Cruise Tour. Rinda was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed, by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Sara (nurse with Legacy home health care) for her caring attention and to thank SEACUS for their helpful services. Rinda is survived by her two children Willman (Charlotte) Carter & Cindy (Randy) Zwerk, sister Rose Marie Hartnell, along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren. Rinda was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and her son Rodney. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 18th at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel, viewing will be one hour prior to services.
