Rita Seale

Rita Irene Sherwood Seale, 76 of Pima passed away on July 13, 2013. Rita was born on June 11, 1937 to John William Sherwood II and Marjorie Raban in St. Johns, Arizona. She grew up and attended schools in the White Mountain area where she graduated from St. Johns High School. After high school she attended business college. She married Edward Thomas Seale, Jr., on July 29, 1961 and they moved to Tucson. They spent 18 years in Tucson and moved back to Springerville where they resided for 13 years. In 1993 they moved to Pima. Rita was known for her love of animals and her ability to grow anything. She is survived by her spouse of 52 years, Edward; daughter, Tracy Jo (Milt) Nelson of Eagar; son, Wayne Thomas (Deanna) Seale of Pima; brother, John William (Dani) Sherwood III of Gilbert; sister, Linda Kae (Jerry) Hitchcock of Springerville; grandchildren, Derek Ray Nelson, Kayla Jo Nelson, Tracy Garrett Seale, CeCe (Clay) Cooke, and Charlie (Erika) Nunez; and great-grandchildren Kaleb & Wyatt. Funeral services for Rita will be on Thursday July 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Springerville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A viewing will be conducted one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Springerville Cemetery.
