Robert J. Evans Bob Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Robert James Evans, 84, passed away April 5, 2008 in Murray, Utah. Born June 17, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York, son of Thomas Charles and Theresa OKeefe Evans. Married Claudette Jones August 2, 1977 in Bennion, Utah. Robert was a veteran of WWII, flew for American Airlines, as a flight engineer, for 43 years. He loved his family, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, skiing and Mr. Mudd. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survived by wife, Claudette; children: Juliann Evans, Queens, NY; Niel (Teresa) Evans, Torrance, CA; Robert (Nydia) Evans Jr, Queens, NY; Thomas (Jacqueline) Evans, Floral Park, NY; stepdaughters: Sharon (Dave) Anderson, Holladay; Ann (Guy) Robinson, Taylorsville; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11;00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your local Parkinsons Foundation.
