In the late hours of Wednesday, December 29, 2021, Robert P. Miranda, loving father and Tata, passed away surrounded by his family. Robert was born on May 17, 1938, to parents Jose Miranda & Artemisa Montijo Miranda in Bisbee, AZ, joining siblings Hector, Dolores, and Jimmy Joe. Robert grew up in Bisbee where he attended schools. He fell in love and married the love of his life, Margaret Barba and together they raised a family of four; Patsy, Leticia, Joseph, and Aurelia. Robert began working for the Phelps Dodge Corporation in 1960 with the Powder Crew, and later moved to Morenci in 1975, where he worked as a Haul Truck Driver until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed reading, golfing, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with his family. Our father, and Tata, was the most loving and giving man who had a big heart and a great sense of humor.
