Robert Simister

Robert J. Simister Bob Robert Jesse Simister passed away July 18, 2010. Born March 25, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Frank and Lillie May Urry Simister. Graduated from South High School in 1960 and served a mission to California, 1961-62. Married Rowann Hill September 11, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple. He had many church callings. He lived in the Salt Lake area for many years, traveling to Kentucky and California. Survived by wife; sons: Ronny, Rowland, Rory and Rouvon; daughters: Teresa Powell and Valerie Millar; 13 grandchildren; sisters: Emma (Dan) Hall and Janet Hendricks. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ivy; brother, Warren. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at the East Millcreek 9th Ward, 4220 South Jeannine Drive (420 East). Viewings will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
