Robert William Stotler, II 1938 ~ 2007 Robert William Stotler, II, age 69, passed away November 10, 2007, peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born April 14, 1938, in Washington, D.C. He married Moemoe Leiataua, December 20, 1958. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Robert served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps as a gunnery sergeant serving multiple assignments in Vietnam. He retired from the military in November, 1985. Robert was a proud member of the Utah Gun Club for over 20 years. He was passionate about his extensive and valuable gun collection. He is survived by Moemoe, his loving wife of 49 years; daughter, Sabra Mae Stotler; 3 grandchildren, Robert, Tatiana and Rio; 5 great grandchildren, Lopati, Inoke, Togia, Moemoe and Tuli. Also survived by sister, Sabra Montgomery of Arthur Park, MD. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara; brother, Nelson; daughter, Tuli. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Friends and family may show their respects one hour prior to services. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
