Rosanna Cuevas

Rosanna Amanda Cuevas, 32, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 with her family by her side. Rosanna was born on April 17, 1980 in Morenci, AZ and resided in Safford, AZ. Rosanna fought cervical cancer valiantly and her illness, as tragic and relentless as it was, brought so many people together. The outpouring of support and kindness that Rosanna and her family received was a tribute to the love she had for life. Rosanna leaves behind her three children; Alyssa, Maree, Jamie, her loving husband Cesar Julian Cuevas, Jr., mother; Anna Christina Ward, mothers fiance; Freddie Gonzales, father; Tony (Becky) Sierra, loving sisters; Krystal (Enrique) Aguilar, Rachelle Ward, brother; Daniel Ward, nieces; Selena, Gabriella, Iliana, half sisters; Star (David) Sierra, Toni (Jared) McCauley, Natasha Sierra, maternal grandparents; Henry and Amanda Martinez, godmother and maternal Aunt Lupe (Armando) Escalante, loving Uncle Henry (Regina) Martinez, paternal grandmother; Aurora Tarin, in-laws; Cesar and Angela Cuevas, sister-in-law; Amanda Cuevas, brother-in-law; Jose Cuevas, best friends; Jori Mendez and Dolly Broderick, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Rosannas beautiful smile and loving heart can be seen and heard in the laughter of her children and in the strength of her husband. Her mother, sisters and brother were with her every step of her journey and their presence gave her continued strength to fight. She will remain in their hearts forever. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at McDougals Caldwell Funeral Chapel, 112 E. Main Street in Safford, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Christian Mass being celebrated on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Victory Fellowship Church, 555 E. Entertainment Avenue in Safford.
