Rosemarie was born September 15, 1920 in Pueblo, CO. She was adopted at birth by Leslie Ethel & George Henry Roberts. Leslie was a homemaker and George was a steelworker. Her father worked for CF&I Steel Corp. for 50 years and retired from there. Rosemarie grew up in Pueblo and attended school there. After school, she enrolled in Cosmetology School and received her license in 1936, which she kept active until 1957. In 1939, she married Eugene C. They lived and worked in many places and towns in Colorado then in 1957 they moved to Flagstaff, AZ. Glen Canyon Dam was being built then and Gene went to work there. Rosemarie, having tired of being a cosmetician, became interested in office work. She was manager of the Prudential Stamp Redemption Center in Flagstaff until the store closed. After that, she went to work in the Flagstaff Office of the Operating Engineers Local 428 and worked for several years. After Gene's death, Rosemarie married a longtime friend, Glenn Bruner, who preceded her in death on July 13, 1997 after a long battle with cancer. Rosemarie was active in the Cedaredge Baptist Church in CO, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and also sang in the choir at Beaver Street Baptist & Mountain View Baptist Church in Flagstaff, AZ. Later she lived in Delta, CO and was active in the First Baptist Church where she put out the newsletter. At the time of her death she was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church in Safford where she was an ordained Elder and Deacon. She is survived by her daughter, Nance' J. Crocker, grandson Brian E. (Dyane) Crocker, great-grandson Kurt D. Crocker, granddaughter-in-law Andrea Robertson, granddaughters Christian K. Holder, Julieann Holder-Faerber and Rosie Holder and her step children Tina Osborn and Anna Napier Streed. Rosemarie was always proud that she was able to live long enough to see her great-grandson, Kurt, be born and was able to enjoy his high school graduation and see him become successful in the business world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie & George Roberts, both husbands, Eugene Holder & Glenn Bruner, and her sons, Eugene Holder III & George Holder. A viewing will be on Monday, July 10 at 1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel in Safford.
