Ruby Lawson 1918 ~ 2008 Ruby Arlene Beeler Lawson, 90, passed away October 13, 2008 at her sons home in Northridge, California with her children and beloved dog, Bonnie. Born August 1, 1918 in Hayden, Utah, daughter of Richard Moroni and Martha Galloway Beeler. Married Woodrow John Lawson November 2, 1935 in Vernal, Utah; solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple November 8, 1957. She enjoyed many things including shopping, quilting, crocheting, cake decorating, the outdoors, horseback riding, camping with her family, cooking and having friends over for dinner. She was devoted to her family and loved them very much. She worked as a beautician and had several shops. She served a mission to the Houston, Texas Mission and was a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple. Survived by son, Dr. Gary Lawson; daughter, Charlene Dunlavy; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, RaNae Park. Funeral services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Monday, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
