Ruth Clark

Ruth Tolhurst Clark 1920 ~ 2008 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away August 23, 2008 surrounded by her family. Ruth was born August 27, 1920 in Ogden, Utah to Charles and Edith Tolhurst. She married our sweet father, Bob Clark, May, 1940 and they had three children: Guy Clark, Maridith Clark Langpap and Chris Clark. In 1947 Bob and Ruth moved from Ogden, Utah to Sacto, California and lived there for over 50 years, enjoying their life with family and wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob, and now they are reunited. Ruth dedicated her life to family and serving others. Throughout her life she served in many capacities as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Those who knew her will always remember her for her smile and kindness to others. Special thanks to the staff of Draper Rehab and Sunbrook Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Mom during the last weeks of her life. Ruth will be missed by many but her spirit and memory will live on in our hearts forever. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at the Sandy Crescent Ridge Stake Center, 1265 East 11000 South. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
