Ruth Ruiz

Ruth Ruiz, age 84, of Buckeye, Arizona went to be with our Lord on July 24th 2012. Ruth was born in Fort Thomas, Arizona on July 18th 1928. She was one of eleven children born to William and Clarice Bolinger. She lived her entire life in Arizona. Ruth married the love of her life, George Ruiz, on October 21st 1950. Ruth is survived by three children; Rebecca (Walden) Bruce of Buckeye, Arizona, Steve (Toni) Ruiz of Peoria, Arizona, and Mary (John) Ruiz of Tucson, Arizona; and one sister, Bertha Holey, of Globe, Arizona. She was the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George; three brothers and six sisters. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and a devout Christian. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and her many friends. Her kindness and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at Caldwell Funeral Chapel in Safford, Arizona at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10th 2012.
