SAMANTHA LOUISE PANEK 1990 ~ 2009 Our loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and great granddaughter, Samantha Panek, 18, passed away November 26, 2009. Born December 12, 1990 in West Jordan, Utah to Lara Mellenthin and Patrick T. Panek. Sami loved unconditionally and always put others needs above her own. Her ever-present smile and sparkling eyes would light up the room and hearts. She loved writing, poetry, art and drawing. Samantha is survived by her mother and father, Patrick and Lara; siblings; Justin Panek, Kelsey Ross, Caiden Ross, and Olivia Ann Smith; grandparents; Gene and Charlyn Panek, Valene Mellenthin, Mike and Debbie Mellenthin; great grandparents Reed and Louis Erickson, honorary grandparents, Paul and Mary Christensen; aunts, uncles and cousins, and very special friend Von. Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday December 1, 2009 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Samanthas wishes were to donate herself for someone elses life.
