Sandra Dominguez

Sandy J. Dominguez, 55, of Safford, passed away May 17, 2017 at her residence with her loved ones by her side. Sandy was born July 25, 1961 in Safford, AZ to Claro M. Jr. & Margaret Gallegos Dominguez. After graduating from high school, she enlisted in the U.S. Army where she proudly and honorably served. After her service, she worked at Phelps Dodge in the smelter, Open Loop, was security management for K-Mart and was the owner of CD's Quick Stop in Solomon. She loved fishing and hunting with her dad and brother George. Sandy leaves behind her lifelong partner of 28 years, Diane, her brother George (Gerri) & family, her sisters Stella & family and Nancy (Ernie) Palma & family, her brother Jody Dominguez, all the cousins, nieces and nephews and her wild mustang. Keep her memories alive. She is preceded in death by her parents Claro Jr. and Margaret Dominguez, her cousin Jimmy Delgado and her Aunt Margaret Chamberlin. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
