Sandra McPherson

August 22, 1966 — December 18, 2020

Sandra McPherson, 54, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, in Tucson, AZ. She was born on August 22, 1966, in Mesa, AZ, to Lloyd Glade Matthews and Noreen Cluff Matthews with siblings Barbara Lynn & Steven Lloyd. Sandra graduated from high school in Mesa in 1984 and then went on to graduate from beauty college. On July 8, 1988, she married the love of her life, Robert Scott McPherson in the Mesa Arizona Temple, and to that eternal union came Michelle Lynn, Robert Scott II, and Matthew Lloyd. Sandy, as she was called by her friends and family, worked in Home Health Care with the disabled as a Staff Facilitator. In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, playing board games, reading, and decorating for the holidays. Sandy was a very patient, and courageous person who had an infectious smile, and was a friend to everyone. She was very happy with the births of her children as well as her grandchildren and was really happy when the family relocated to Missouri in 2004. Her favorite sayings were "I love you to the moon and back", and "Best Friend Ever". She is survived by her husband Robert Scott McPherson, her sons Robert (Kylie) McPherson and Matthew Lloyd McPherson, her siblings Barbara Lynn (Kevin) Ball and Steven Lloyd (Cristine) Matthews, three grandchildren Riley Jo, Robert Scott III "Bo", and Eleanor Mae McPherson, and her chihuahua Barbie and her horse Sky's Cutie Doll. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd & Noreen Matthews, and her daughter Michelle Lynn McPherson. A public viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020, at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Central Cemetery.
