Sandra Skinner

Sandra Gay Skinner, 63 of Gilbert passed away December 4, 2023 at home with her husband and children around her following a 19 month fight with cancer.

She was born to Ed & Pauline Stephenson on October 2, 1960 in Douglas Arizona and grew up in Elfrida and Willcox AZ. Sandy graduated from Willcox HS in May 1978 and married her sweetheart, Toby Skinner on July 14, 1978 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.

Sandy and Toby were blessed with 5 children. Together, was their family's favorite place to be. Living in Southeastern Arizona, the family was honored with being "Graham County Family of the Year" in 1991. Sandy was proud of her kids and supported them in all they did. She worked for Freeport-McMoRan mining company as an executive administrative assistant for 24 years.

Sandy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings. Her devotion to the Savior was life-long and was evident in all she did.

Sandy is survived by her husband Toby, children Brandon (Marcy), Brian (Amanda) , Danae (Rusten) Keime, Alena, and Kensey (Ian) Burns all of Gilbert ; 8 grandchildren, mother Pauline Stephenson and 5 siblings.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3307 S Greenfield Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85297, Saturday, December 9 th at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery in Willcox AZ.
