Sandra Lois Stead Chatfield, 65, of Pima, passed away at home in the early morning hours of November 23, 2017. Sandy was born July 29, 1952 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Harold & Lois Wright.
Her family moved around some as her father was in the military and at one point they moved to Germany. She had a deep love for family, music, animals and being outdoors with nature. For many years of her life she performed with and was a part of a few different bands where she sang, played guitar and tambourine. Sandy loved country music and her friends and family enjoyed watching and listening to her perform.
She loved to be anywhere there was a body of water. Camping in the outdoors with her family and dogs was one of her favorite things. Sandy was blessed with three children, two sons and a daughter. She was a loving mother who always taught her children to be honest, to love and to make good choices in their lives. She was a beautiful, caring person with a big heart who will be deeply missed by all of those that love her.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 26 years, Wilton "Vern" Chatfield, children; Richard Brune, Gabriel Brune and Sarah Switzer, grandchildren; Natasha Brune, Ashley Williams, Marisa Holloway, Cheyenne Brune, Kimberly Switzer and Tommy Brune, great-grandchild Liam Holloway and a sister, Shirley O'Niel and a brother, Wayne Wright.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the McDougal's Caldwell Chapel.
