Scott Everts

SCOTT G. EVERTS 1963 ~ 2008 Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Scott Everts, age 44, was unexpectedly taken too soon from us on March 21, 2008. Born June 4, 1963 in Salt Lake City to George and VaNiece Everts. He married Alicia Ogaard August 25, 1984 in Kearns, Utah. He attended Kearns High School, class of 1981. He was a gifted artist, hardworker, and was always willing to help anyone. He loved his family, his home, and he was proud to have worked the Speed Skating Oval for Qwest during the 2002 Winter Olympics. He was employed by Qwest for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Alicia; children: Britten L., Shannon M., Chelsea N., and Cameron S.; his father, George; sister, Valyn (Lloyd) Jones; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his mother, VaNiece, grandparents, and father-in-law, Norman Ogaard. We love and miss you with all our hearts and pray you are at peace. We will never forget you. Until we meet again. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the Park 3rd Ward, 7000 South 4800 West. A viewing will be held Thursday, 6 - 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 10 - 10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
