Scottie Joe Newsome Rest in Peace, Tru Our beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Scottie Joe Newsome, passed away June 30, 2009. He was born August 6, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph Scott Newsome and Darlene Phelps. He is survived by his son, Kamron; father, Joe; grandmother, Maryland; siblings: Stephanie, Alicia, Travis, Sammy, Andy, Amanda, Julie, Brandy, Christein and Cameron; many uncles, aunts and cousins; girlfriend, Ashley and her daughter, Nevaeh; mother, Darlene. Preceded in death by his uncle, Jimmy; aunt, Susie; great-grandmother; and grandpa, Sam. Funeral services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Sunday, 1:00-3:00 p.m. and Monday, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
