Seth Eldred Saline was born April 21, 1942 in Pima Arizona to Eldred Eliga and Elna Peck Saline. Passed away September 28, 2017 in Mesa, Arizona with his family around him.
Seth grew up in Pima Arizona working many jobs to be able to pay for and rebuild old cars to drive and race around the Gila Valley! Seth graduated from Pima High School where he played football and basketball, and met and married his High School Sweetheart Gail Joyce Taylor on April 6, 1962, in Pima, Arizona then being sealed for all Eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple on May 5, 1968. Seth and Joyce added to their family four children Sherli Joy; Seth Eldred, II; Shon Don and Shelby Lee. Seth moved his family to Snowflake in 1964 where he worked as a Pipefitter for 43 years before retiring.
Seth loved to be outside hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping he would walk or drive all the back roads of Arizona with his maps and metal detector looking for his millions! Seth also loved spending time with his family. He attended many sporting events that his children and grandchildren played in. You would always find Seth with a camera or video camera in is hand taking pictures and videos of any unsuspecting family member! Seth was a quite humble man who loved his family and taught them to have a strong foundation, be respectful and work hard at the goals they set for themselves.
Seth leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Gail Joyce Taylor-Saline; Two daughters: Sherli Skinner (Ed) and Shelby Holt; Two sons: Seth (Theresa) and Shon (Holley). 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; Two sisters: Diana Hunt (Milo) and Nancy Saline; one brother Eddy Saline, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eldred and Elna Saline and younger brother Donald Rex Saline.
A viewing for Seth will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel with a graveside service to follow at 10 a.m. at the Pima Cemetery.
