Sharlotte Perez

Sharlotte Jean Perez, 71, formerly of Safford, passed away on April 25, 2016, in Casa Grande, AZ. Sharlotte was born on December 7, 1944 in Wichita Falls, TX to William and Imogene Pounds. Sharlotte grew up in Morenci, graduating at Morenci High School. Later in life she worked as a finance clerk, but first and foremost was always creating a home for her family. She enjoyed restoring furniture and loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family was everything to her. Sharlotte is survived by her children, Dan Barry, Jim Barry, Dean Barry, Jeff Perez and Katie Perez, sister, Pam Copland, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Perez, parents, Bill and Imogene Pounds, and her daughter, Kendra Barry. Services for Sharlotte will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. A viewing will begin at 12 p.m. and funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow in the Safford Cemetery.
