Sharon Louise Groat 3/11/54 ~ 08/24/08 Our sweet, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by family and friends. Born March 11, 1954 in Jerome, Idaho, to Maynard James Morehouse and Margaret Mary Lidstrom, joining sister, Carolyn M. Double and brother, Marvin J. Morehouse. She enjoyed spending time with her three children and five grandchildren. She loved to watch movies with her grandchildren while they shared her yummy, buttery burnt popcorn. She was a caring, loving, inspirational friend who liked to share a good laugh and always left a lasting memory in your heart. Survived by sister, Carolyn Double, Silverdale, WA; daughter, Shawna (Joe) Manley; granddaughters; sons, Jerry (Brenda) Gardner, Justin (Jessica) Groat; grandson, Bryson, granddaughters, Memory and Mianah, Brynlee and Nautica; life-long companion, Greg Groat, all of Salt Lake City, UT. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Marvin. Following a cremation, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering at Sharons home on Friday, September 5, 2008.
