Sharon Ryan

Sharon Rose Ryan, 72, lifetime resident of the Gila Valley, passed away December 8, 2016 at home with her family by her side. She was born March 16, 1944 in Central, Arizona to Ezra Amos & Dora Alice Sherman. She attended schools in the Gila Valley earning her Associates Degree. She held many jobs during the years including musician and Sales Associate at Wal Mart. She loved quilting, sewing, fishing, crocheting, music, playing games on her Nintendo and spending time with her family. Sharon is survived by her children; Seth Hawkins, Kimberly Hawkins, Bobette (Rodney) Jones, Shawn (Janet) McNutt, Gary (Tiffany) McKay and Kevin (Sheila) Ryan, siblings; Lyle (Nellie) Angle, Eddie (Melissa) Sherman and Patsy Sherman, 21 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Ezra & Dora Sherman, three sisters, one brother and her son, Boyd E. Hawkins. Services for Sharon will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the New Life City Church beginning with a viewing at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery immediately following the services.
