Shary Herbert, a beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Safford, Arizona. She was born on August 31, 1954, in Boulder, Colorado, and graduated from Lodi High School in 1971. Shary’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering love and support for her family.
Throughout her career, Shary worked as an administrative assistant in a nuclear power plant, where her dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed. However, her true joy came from the love she shared with her husband, Derald Wayne Herbert. Together, they forged a beautiful life as Shary followed Derald across the United States, demonstrating her commitment and devotion to support their family at every turn.
Shary's spirit was as vibrant as her sense of humor, which never failed to bring joy to those around her. Her beauty extended far beyond appearances; it radiated from her compassionate heart, making her a cherished friend to many. Shary had a deep and abiding love for animals, engaging passionately in pet rescue programs and extending her gentle nature to every creature.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Derald Wayne Herbert, and her siblings, Patricia, Dennis, and Kerry. Shary also shared her home with two beloved pets, Panther and Princess, who were treasured companions in her life.
Shary was preceded in death by her parents, Bracile and Rae Doyle, as well as her nephew, Kevin Flanagan, and two aunts and uncles. The love that she cultivated in her life will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known her. Her legacy of laughter, compassion, and love for animals creates a lasting impact that will be cherished by family and friends alike.
