Shilene Winans

Shilene Danielle Winans, 23 of Safford passed away November 28, 2010. She was born in Safford to Brian Jay Winans and Sharon Lee Wimberley on October 28, 1987. Shilene had a great love of being outdoors with her family. At the age of 11 she got her first elk. She enjoyed hunting with her dad, fishing, drawing and especially dancing. Shilene was a very determined young lady. She overcame the obstacles in her life graduating from Safford High School and was especially proud to live on her own. Shilene will be missed by the many people she touched. Shilene is survived by her parents Brian Jay Winans and Sharon Lee Wimberley, siblings Kenda Lee and Yancey Jay Winans, grandparents Jay & Jerri Winans, Richard & Frances Wimberley, Carol & Ray Gambeoa, Aunt Charlotte Winans, and Aunt Michelle & Uncle Scott Johnson. She was preceded in death by her Aunt Carol Winans. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Desert Springs Community Fellowship, 425 E. 4th St.-Safford, with viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
