Soraida Gonzales

Biography Mrs. Soraida (Gilbert) Gonzales, 81, died Friday, September 7, peacefully at her home. Mrs. Gonzales was born March 19, 1931 in Manassa, CO., the daughter of Raquel and Annie Mandragon. She was married to Gilbert Gonzales April 1, 1965 in Morenci, AZ. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Anna (Cody) Medina, Englewood, CO, Randy Perea, Manassa, CO, Barbara Pacheco, Manassa, CO, Terry (Domenick) Giacoletti, Morenci, AZ, Gilbert Gonzales JR., Thatcher, AZ, and Robert Gonzales, Phenix City, AL. Siblings Martha (Ray) Sanchez, Safford, AZ and Ray (Shirley) Casias, Santa Fe, NM, 9 grand children, 17 great grand children and 1 great, great, grand child. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Celedon Mondragon, Brigido Mondragon, sister Helen Mondragon and son in law Steve (Barbara) Pacheco. A viewing, rosary and funeral mass will be celebrated on September 12 at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Safford, AZ. Final resting place will be in Los Cerritos Cemetery, Manassa CO.
