Spence Filleman

Walter Spence Filleman, 77 of Safford passed away July 20, 2011 at his home. Spence was born September 16, 1933 in Clifton, Arizona to Mike & Ocie Filleman. He graduated from Morenci High School and later form the University of San Francisco. Spence enjoyed skiing, fishing, sailing, golf, tennis, poker and working around his home. He is survived by his loving friend and companion Maxine Bean, sons Walter Spence Filleman, Jr. and Michael Glenn Filleman, two grandchildren, sister Mary Carpenter and brother Jim (Judy). Spence was preceded in death by his wife Bernice, mother Ocie Spence Kiehne and father Mike Filleman. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
