Stella Saulters

Mattie Stella Saulters, 78, of Safford, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her home in Safford, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1933, in Maud, TX to Ellic Mathis, and Margie Dalton Mathis. She is survived by her daughters, Tricia Sanford of Safford, Glenda Saulters of Thatcher, and LaCarmon Saulters of Safford; sons, Jesse (Pat) Saulters, Robert (Pam) Saulters, and Delbert Saulters, all of Texas; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Billie Ruth Saulters. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
