Stephen Morris

Stephen Eric Morris, age 63 of Safford, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Haven of Safford. Stephen was born on May 12, 1951, in Safford, to George and Wanda Morris. Stephen graduated from Safford High School with the class of 1971, and later from Eastern Arizona College. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving a mission in the Pennsylvania Mission from 1972- 1974. Stephen loved reading math books and loved talking to anybody and everybody. Stephen is survived by his siblings, Juanita, Jennie (George) Crawford, George (Judy), Richard (Connie), Ivan (Misty), Jon (Valerie), and Mikel (Tammy) Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Wanda and brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Sue Morris. Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 beginning with a viewing at 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mt Graham Chapel. Interment will follow at the Safford Cemetery.
