Steven Paul Woelk, Jr., known affectionately by his family as "Junior", passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2017 in Safford at the age of 25.
Steven is survived by his mother, China Lynn Hall of Safford; his father, Steven Paul Woelk, Sr. of Andover, KS; his step-father Theodore Hall of Safford; his step-mother Kristin Neitzel Woelk of Andover, KS; his sister Cassondra and her husband Chris and their five children - Airin, Leila, Lilly, Abby and Jace; his sister Ashley and her daughter Serenity; his sister Erika and her two children - Aaron and McKayden; and his fiance Danielle Richards, all of Safford.
Steven was born on September 5, 1991 in Long Beach, CA. He was a proud graduate of EAC and worked as a granite specialist. He had recently become engaged to Danielle while on a trip to Las Vegas where he proposed at the top of the Eiffel Tower. His family remembers him as a fun loving, caring individual who loved his family and was passionate about living life to the fullest each and every day. Steven was a video game enthusiast, loved Nascar, had a special place in his heart for animals and always enjoyed family gatherings. A favorite pastime of his was attending rock concerts with his fiance. He was the best son, brother, and uncle he could be.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the New Life City Church
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2107 at New Life City Church, with Dr. Philip Tutor officiating.
