Susan Ann Sherwood, a beloved teacher, licensed therapist, and founder of a private school, has passed away at the age of 59. Susan was born on March 9, 1965, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she spent her early years before eventually settling in Safford, Arizona.

Throughout her life, Susan displayed a remarkable dedication to education and helping others. Armed with a Master's degree from Grand Canyon University, she embarked on a fulfilling career as an educator and therapist. Her passion for teaching shone brightly in the classroom as she touched the lives of countless students. Beyond teaching, Susan's venture into founding a private school underscored her commitment to providing quality education to young minds.

Described as having a "Popsicle Stick" humor, Susan had an infectious laughter that brightened the lives of those around her. She is mourned by her children: Jasie, Kye, Trey, Bailey, Sadee, Tia, Ellie-Anna, Tatijuana, and Ren; five grandchildren; siblings Penny (Dwayne), Sandi, and Deena.  She was proceeded in death by her parents Peggy & James Starks.

In honoring Susan's memory, let us remember her as a beacon of light in the lives of many - a dedicated educator, a compassionate therapist, and above all else, a loving friend and family member who will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
