Syble Irene Ginn Stromness 1927 ~ 2009 Our loving wife, mother, sister, grandma, grandma-great, angel, Syble Irene Ginn Stromness, peacefully returned to her Father in Heaven on Friday, April 10, 2009, surrounded by family. Born March 27, 1927 to Coy Jackson Ginn and Margie Irene Hudson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was sealed to her eternal companion, Wilford H. Stromness, on March 4, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had 5 children, 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Syble had an amazing talent in crocheting, which she used often to the delight of her family. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and understanding for others. Her Christ-like example was proof of her love for our Savior who is the center of her life, along with her family. She held many LDS Church callings, including some of her favorites in Relief Society and Primary Presidencies. Survived by her husband; daughters: Irene (Doug) McLelland, Sally (Lennis - deceased) Roberts, Julie (Leland) Christensen; sister, Pearl (Jack) Clark; brothers, Kit Ginn and Kim Ginn. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Annie Mae Pond; brother, Coy LiDell Ginn; sons, Howard & Garry; grandson, Jerry Oman Stromness. She is loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be Friday, April 17, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Copperhill 8th Ward, 4145 South 6000 West. A viewing will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and on Friday at the Church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
